Privacy policy

This page explains what data this website collects, why, and how it is protected. This is the information site of the endovascular surgery service at the O.O. Shalimov National Scientific Center of Surgery and Transplantology, with texts prepared by the department's doctor, Yurii Vahis; it is not the Center's official website and does not keep medical records.

Who processes your data

The data controller is Dr Yurii Vahis, contact physician of the service. Questions about your data: vagisura@gmail.com.

What we collect and why

• Through the form: your name, phone or Telegram, a description of the problem and, optionally, an attached file (ultrasound report, CT, discharge summary). Purpose: to reply to your request and, if needed, arrange a consultation.
• Through Telegram or email: whatever you send yourself, processed under the rules of those services.
• Technical data (IP address, browser type) may be recorded by the hosting provider in access logs for security purposes.

Legal basis

Your consent, given by ticking the box in the form. Health data is a special category: it is used only to answer your request and is not shared with third parties except where the law requires.

Where the data is stored

Form messages are processed by Netlify Forms and then delivered to the doctor's email. The site uses no advertising trackers or tracking cookies. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which means your IP address is sent to Google.

Retention

Request data is kept while the conversation continues, but no longer than 12 months after the last contact, and is then deleted. If you become a patient of the Center, your medical records are kept by the Center in accordance with the law, separately from this website.

Your rights

You can ask what data we hold about you, have it corrected, withdraw your consent or ask for deletion by writing to the email above. Requests are handled within 30 days.

What not to send

Please do not send passport details, card numbers or other people's documents through the form. A description of the problem and your test reports are enough for a consultation.
